Yes. The local editor can replace detected text visually and export the replacement as selectable PDF text. Complex embedded fonts, rotated text and scanned pages may require a native editor or OCR.

No. MyFileNest reports the actual output size. PDFs that are already optimized or dominated by compressed images may not shrink meaningfully.

Encrypted PDFs are rejected with a clear message. Password removal is not part of this browser release.
