Browser file processing

The file tools in this release process files locally in your web browser. File contents are not sent to MyFileNest servers. Most selected files remain only in the active browser tab for the current session.

Local PDF draft recovery

The PDF editor may store one recovery draft in your browser's IndexedDB storage when the PDF is 12 MB or smaller. This draft stays on your device, is never uploaded to MyFileNest, and may remain after the tab closes until you recover it, replace it with a newer draft, clear the editor, or clear this site's browser data.

Account information

If you create an account, we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password, session records and basic account metadata in PostgreSQL. We never store plaintext passwords.

Operational data

Server logs may include timestamps, request paths, error codes and abbreviated network information needed for security and reliability. We do not log file contents.

Optional analytics and advertising

Nonessential integrations load only after the relevant consent. When allowed and enabled, Google and other advertising or analytics partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons or similar technologies, and receive information such as your IP address, device details, approximate location and interactions for measurement, fraud prevention and ad delivery. MyFileNest never sends file names, document contents, PDF text, signatures, passwords or authentication tokens to marketing providers.

Saved files

This release does not upload or save processed documents on MyFileNest servers. If server storage is enabled in a future release, it will be opt-in and retention will be disclosed before upload.

Your choices

You may change cookie preferences from the footer and contact us to request access to or deletion of account information. Legal retention requirements may apply.
