Security & transparency

How MyFileNest handles your files and data

MyFileNest is designed around local browser processing. This page explains the boundaries of that design, the data the account platform needs, and how to report a security concern.

File processing in this release

The public tools in this release process supported file contents in your browser. The selected documents are not uploaded to MyFileNest for conversion. Some advanced tools download code, OCR data or a processing model before working locally; downloading a model is different from uploading your file.

Every tool displays its processing mode near the workspace. If a future feature requires server or third-party processing, the interface must identify that mode before the file is sent.

Local storage and recovery

Most selected files exist only in the active tab. The PDF editor may keep one recovery draft in this site's IndexedDB storage for a supported document. That draft remains on your device until it is replaced, recovered, cleared in the editor, or removed with the site's browser data.

Accounts and transport security

Account passwords are stored as password hashes, not plaintext. Session cookies are HTTP-only, use a same-site policy and are marked secure in production. Production pages are delivered over HTTPS with security headers that limit framing, content types, referrers and unnecessary browser permissions.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

Optional analytics and advertising use the consent controls shown on the site. File names, document text, signatures, passwords and file contents are not included in marketing events. See the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.

Limitations

No online service can promise perfect security. Keep original files, use strong unique passwords, review downloaded output, and avoid processing a document on a device you do not trust. MyFileNest does not claim that a visual signature is a certificate-backed digital signature or that a visible black box is always a secure redaction.

Responsible disclosure

Report a suspected vulnerability to support@easysoftwares.pk. Include the affected URL, a clear description and safe reproduction steps. Do not attach private user documents, expose personal data, disrupt service, or access data that is not yours.

MyFileNest is operated by Easysoftwares. General product and privacy questions can also be sent through the Contact page.
